[KBA-78576] Audio recording might fail when a microphone is shared between two cameras

This article explains why audio recording might stop when two or more cameras are configured to share the same microphone.

Symptoms

Audio recording might intermittently stop for cameras sharing the same microphone.

Cause

A code change causes this issue.

Workaround

Restart the Genetec™ Server service.

Status

This issue is resolved in Security Center 5.6 SR4 Cu2 and later.
