You can trigger AMAG Symmetry outputs manually or by using hot actions, event-to-actions, and scheduled tasks in Security Center.

What you should know

  • Outputs are listed under the Symmetry root AC unit entity.

  • There are three pulse patterns available for AMAG Symmetry outputs.

    • Active = On
    • Normal = Off
    • Pulse (1 sec.) = On then Off
NOTE: Pulse (1 sec.) is only available from the plugin role, and cannot be used for hot actions, event-to-actions, or scheduled tasks.
NOTE: Although you can create custom output behaviors in Config Tool, and then assign the custom behavior to an AMAG Symmetry output, the assigned custom behavior will not work. Only the default behaviors Active, Normal, and Pulse (1 sec.) actually trigger the AMAG Symmetry outputs.

Procedure

To manually trigger an AMAG Symmetry output in Config Tool:

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the entity browser, expand the AMAG Symmetry plugin, and then click the Symmetry root AC unit entity.
  3. Click the Peripheral tab, then select the output that you want to toggle.
  4. Click the outputs button, and select one of the following pulse patterns:
    • Active
    • Normal
    • Pulse (1 sec.)
