The Transaction Finder plugin 3.1 includes the following new features.
- Improved search
- In all Transaction Finder reports, you can now search for exact dollar and cents amounts, empty fields, and multiple terms.
- Find items within a transaction
- Using the new Item transaction report, you can search for specific line items in a transaction.
- Schedule automated data recovery
- If the plugin is unable to reach the Elasticsearch database, transactions are saved in the plugin's SQL database and inserted into Elasticsearch. You can now choose when the automatic SQL recovery process runs.
- Unknown cash register
- It is now easier to identify new cash registers that communicate with Security Center. A notification is raised in Security Desk when a transaction is received from an unknown cash register. The notification is sent once every 12 hours and includes identifying information such as the store name or ID, cash register ID, and the date and time of transaction.
- Multiple plugins roles using a single Elasticsearch database
- If you are splitting the load across multiple plugins, you can now identify the plugin dedicated to processing reports (or queries).
- Encryption always enabled
- The connection between the plugin and parsers is now always encrypted. In previous versions, users had a choice of encrypting the communication between the plugin and the parsers.
