To transform your Security Center system into a decision support system, you must install the Genetec Citigraf™ Command package on the Security Center client and server computers.

Before you begin

Make sure a compatible version of Security Center is installed on your servers and client workstations. For more information, see Installing Security Center.

What you should know

The Genetec Citigraf™ Command installation package contains two folders:
Client Installer
Contains the intallation program for client workstations: CitigrafCommand_v_2.0_x.y_ClientSetup.exe.
Server Installer
Contains the intallation program for servers: CitigrafCommand_v_2.0_x.y_ServerSetup.exe.

The setup program installs all plugins related to external data sources that Genetec Citigraf™ supports. After you installed the package, you only need to create the plugin roles for the data sources you need.

  • If your Security Center system consists of a single server, install the Genetec Citigraf™ Command package on that server.
  • If you have a multi-server Security Center system, install the Genetec Citigraf™ Command package on an expansion server.

Procedure

  1. Close Config Tool and Security Desk.
  2. On each server computer, do the following:
    1. Double-click the CitigrafCommand_ServerSetup.exe file and follow the installation instructions in the wizard.
    2. On the Installation Wizard Completed page, click Finish.
    3. Restart the Genetec™ Server service.
  3. On each client computer, do the following:
    1. Double-click the CitigrafCommand_ClientSetup.exe file and follow the installation instructions in the wizard.
    2. On the Installation Wizard Completed page, click Finish.

After you finish

Create all the plugin roles you need for your Genetec Citigraf™ system.
