You can create multiple AMAG Symmetry plugin roles in Security Center to synchronize entities with, receive events from, and send commands to multiple AMAG Symmetry systems simultaneously.

What you should know

IMPORTANT: Each plugin role must point to the IP address of a different AMAG Symmetry server. If multiple plugin roles point to the same IP address, duplicates of all the AMAG Symmetry entities are created in Security Center.

Procedure

  1. Create an additional AMAG Symmetry plugin role.
    IMPORTANT: Every AMAG Symmetry plugin role must be assigned a unique database, but the database server can be used by multiple plugin roles.
  2. Install the proxy service on the AMAG Symmetry server you want to connect to.
  3. Configure the new plugin role.

Results

Security Center can now connect to multiple AMAG Symmetry servers to synchronize entities and receive events from each of them simultaneously.
