To send hotlist hit alerts to the required users, you must first configure an action in the AutoVu Cloudrunner™ portal.

Before you begin

Make sure that you set the status of the required hotlists to Active. For more information, see Activating or deactivating a hotlist.

What you should know

When a hotlist hit is generated, an email with the following information is sent to the selected users:
  • License plate image
  • Context image
  • Plate number
  • Plate state
  • Make
  • Model
  • Color
  • Type
  • Speed
  • Timestamp
  • Address
  • Hotlist name
  • Tenant name
  • Camera name
  • Camera type
  • GPS location of the ALPR camera
  • Match type:
    • Exact match: If the ALPR read is an exact match for the license plate.
    • Near match: If the ALPR read is flagged as a hit when all but one character matches any plate number on a hotlist. This happens when characters are visually similar. For example, if the license plate is ABC123 and ALPR read has the plate number as A8C123, the match type is OCR match.
NOTE: If a hotlist is configured to match only plate numbers, and the plate state in the read does not match with the hotlist, the ALPR read is flagged with a 'Near match'.
You can click the GPS link to view the location of the camera in Google Maps.
