Before you begin

Create the plugin role.

What you should know

To configure the plugin properties, you need the following:
  • The Site ID and Agency name, which are provided by New Jersey’s Statewide Networked ALPR Program (NJ SNAP).
  • If you are exporting Person of Interest (POI) hits, you need the POI endpoint URL and POI authorization token, which are also provided by NJ SNAP.
    NOTE: Only hits from the POI hotlist are exported to NJ SNAP. The export is managed through the API.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
  3. In the General settings section, enter the following information, which is provided by the NJ SNAP program.
    Site ID
    The ORI code of the agency.
    Agency name
    The owner of the camera.
  4. In the Hits settings section, you configure the export of hits from the POI hotlist. Enter the POI endpoint URL and the POI authorization token, which are provided by the NJ SNAP program.
  5. In the API connection section, add the authorized TLS certificates used to validate the connections to the API.

  6. Click Apply.
