If you cannot start a Remote Desktop session using the Sharp Discovery Tool, there are steps you can follow to help you troubleshoot the issue.
Ensure that the firewall allows the Genetec Production Discovery UDP protocol.

- Isolate the camera in a closed environment. If required, connect the camera directly to the computer using a local DHCP.
