Known issues are software issues that have been discovered in the current release or a previous release, and have not yet been resolved.
AutoVu™ SharpOS 11.7 GA has the following known issues:
|1843986||When a diagnostics report is run in the Sharp portal, the timestamp displayed in the report does not respect the time and date format defined in the regional settings of the computer.|
|338627||If a Sharp unit uses the HTTP or FTP extensions, or if no extension is
configured, upgrading the Sharp unit from the Sharp Portal fails with the following
message: "The Plate Reader did not reconnect the embedded Updater Service after 180
Workaround: Configure the Sharp to use the Security Center - Auto extension, update the Sharp, then configure the Sharp to use the previous extension.
|276556||When the outputs of an LPR Processing Unit are used to control building access
through event-to-actions in Security Center, rebooting the LPR Processing Unit causes
the outputs to activate which could lead to the opening of the access point. This
output behavior is not ideal for access control, but is required in order to power the
in-vehicle computer on vehicle startup.
Workaround: Create an event-to-action in Security Center that will send a "Normal" state to the outputs following a "Unit Connected" event. The access points will still open, but will close shortly afterward.
