When using the LPR Manager's discovery port to detect a Sharp camera, using port 5050 will give the following error:
Warning Plate Reader Error initializing the discovery module. System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
Workaround: Port 5050 is reserved for the logger service. Select a different discovery port in the LPR Manager's Properties tab and in the Sharp Portal.

404 – File or directory not found error page.
Workaround: This is a limitation since the unit’s initialization is not complete. Wait a few minutes and try again.
|276559||11.1||As of Sharp 11.1, when you add an LPR Processing Unit to the Archiver, all of the video units streams are available regardless of the physical camera connections. This gives you maximum flexibility when re-arranging your cameras because the video units do no need to be re-created. Best practice is to disable the streams you do not need (in the Peripherals tab of the Video Unit). Disabled video streams will no longer be visible under the unit, but they can be re-enabled at a future time if required without needing to add the LPR Processing Unit again.|

DHCP server is present on the network, the SharpX will continuously reboot and you will not

Workaround: On the trunk unit, use a paper clip to press on the Reset button. This will restart the unit with factory default settings.
