Flexreader™ is a server-based ALPR solution that provides a cost-effective option for automatically identifying and tracking vehicles that access your premises, using IP video cameras supported by Security Center.
Optimized for applications with vehicles moving up to 30 MPH (50km/h), Flexreader™ provides accessible ALPR within the unified Genetec™ Security Center platform. This ALPR module allows you to take advantage of a broad range of data-mining tools and graphical reports to gain meaningful operational insight from license plate data.
- Use existing infrastructure, or leverage affordable security cameras to build your ALPR solution. Flexreader™ works with suitable IP video cameras supported by Security Center.
- Capture license plates from slow-moving vehicles (gate control, parking monitoring, and so on).
- Select a regional context to optimize license plate reads for a certain state or country.
- Use ALPR analytics such as plate state and province recognition, and vehicle make recognition.
- Define a region of interest. This limits plate detection to a specific part of the field of view.
- Configure cameras to start or stop ALPR capture automatically based on the state of an input trigger device.
- Include context images from a second camera to show the vehicle from another angle.
- The system provides a confidence score on ALPR reads.
- Use AutoVu™ graphical ALPR reports and list management features.
