Using the Vehicle occurrences task, you can investigate the number of vehicles associated with each tenant in the parking lot.

Before you begin

Ensure that the Vehicle occurrences privilege is enabled for your user.

Procedure

  1. In Security Desk, open the Vehicle occurrences task.
  2. Set a Time frame for the report. You can select from a preset range or click Specific range to define your own time range.
  3. Select the required parking zone from the drop-down.
  4. (Optional) Enter a full or partial license plate number. For information on how to use wildcard characters for partial license plate numbers, see About license plate filters in the Security Center User Guide.
  5. Select the Tenants you want to monitor.
  6. Click Generate report.
The Operations page displays the vehicle activities.
NOTE: An entry displays empty values if the corresponding information is not received from the parking provider. For more information, see Configuring an additional attribute in Security Center permits for Pay-by-Plate Sync.
  7. Click a row to view other details such as Entry timestamp, Exit timestamp, Entrance ALPR unit, and Exit ALPR unit.
  8. (Optional) Click Export report to export your current search results in an Excel file:
    1. Enter or browse to the path of the folder.
    2. Select the details that you want to export:
      • Main grid: The summarized report of the parking occupancy for all tenants.
      • Details grid: Select All details to export other details for all parking sessions for a tenant or select Selected details to export other details of a specific parking trend for a tenant.
NOTE: You cannot cancel a report generation that is in progress.
