The Encoding page is available from the Configuration > Connectivity menu. Use the Encoding page to define the encoding type for the video stream.

RTSP encoding type
Select the unit's MJPEG or H.264 video stream.
IMPORTANT: This value is applied to both the ALPR and context cameras. After changing the video encoding type, you must restart the ALPR Manager.
