This section lists the settings found on the Cellular page of the Sharp Portal. Use the Cellular page to see the network status and to configure the cellular connection for your SIM card.
NOTE: The Cellular page is only available for SharpV units with the LTE feature.

Enable
The cellular modem can be disabled if you do not require cellular communication.
NOTE:
- Before disabling the cellular modem, the camera must be connected to an Ethernet network to ensure it is still accessible.
- SharpV LTE cameras automatically re-enable cellular communication if an Ethernet connection is not established.
Status
The Status section shows the status of the cellular connection as
well as other information related to the cellular carrier.
NOTE: A Signal
quality between 0 and -100 dBm is acceptable. If the signal strength
is lower than -100, the SharpV might not be
able to send license plate reads.
SIM card
The SIM card section shows cellular carrier information for the SIM card installed in the SharpV.
Modem device
The Modem device shows information used to identify the SharpV internal modem hardware.
Custom access point
- APN
- Enter the APN information provided by your cellular carrier.
- Username
- The username provided by your cellular carrier.
- Password
- The password provided by your cellular carrier.
