SharpV camera units require two-way network communication. For installations where a unit is on a different network than the Security Center server, you must create rules to allow the communication.

Connecting to a Security Center server outside the LAN

In the following example, the SharpV unit is behind a network address translation (NAT) and communicates with a Security Center cloud server.
