The AutoVu™ Installation Kit contains several tools used in AutoVu installations. The kit is recommended when deploying SharpV and SharpZ3 camera units.
The following tools are included in the AutoVu Installation Kit:
- EZ-RJPRO™ HD Crimp Tool
- The crimp tool is recommended in SharpV installations to crimp the camera
cable RJ45 connectors. For more information, see Connecting the network cable to the SharpV.NOTE: For SharpZ3 installations, if you are terminating the camera cable with the supplied RJ45 connector, you must use the EZ-RJPRO™ HD Crimp Tool provided in this kit.
- Ferrule crimper
- A ferrule crimper is not required for SharpV installations, but you can crimp
ferrules when using the
SharpV inputs and
outputs or when powering the SharpV using 12 v
dc.
The crimper can also be used in SharpZ3 installations when making connections to the base unit.
- Target license plate
- You can use the retro-reflective target license plate to generate license plate read and when setting the SharpV camera zoom and focus.
- Cable tester
- After you terminate the SharpV camera cable, you must test your RJ45 connection. For more information, see Connecting the network cable to the SharpV .
- M12 x-code to RJ45 converter
- The M12 x-code to RJ45 converter is used in SharpZ3 to test camera cables.
- iX to RJ45 converter
- The iX to RJ45 converter is used in SharpZ3 to test cables that connect to the SharpZ3 PoE expansion module.
