For SharpV cameras to communicate with Security Center, the correct communication ports must be defined.

NOTE:

The following table lists the default network ports used for SharpV communication with Security Center:

Computer Inbound Outbound Port usage
SharpV TCP 8001   Control port.
TCP 2323   Used by the SharpV to determine which extension to load.
UDP 5000   Used to discover SharpV units connected to the network.
  TCP 8731 Default listening port.
  9001 (Security Center 5.8) LPM protocol communication port.
  10001 (Security Center 5.9 and later) LPM protocol communication port.
TCP 2222   LPM protocol over SSH tunnel. SharpV G3 unit running SharpOS 14.1 and later.
TCP 80   Used for HTTP communication with Security Center.
TCP 443   Used for HTTPS communication with Security Center and with the AutoVu Product Improvement Program.
NOTE: For connectivity with the AutoVu Product Improvement Program, the Sharp should have access to the following:
  • Port 443 (HTTPS)
  • Outbound traffic
  • Toward
    • SharpUploadMainHub.azure-devices.net
    • sharpuploadiotstorage.blob.core.windows.net
RTSP 554   Used to set up, start, and stop the SharpV H.264 video stream.
