For SharpV cameras to communicate with Security Center, the correct communication ports must be defined.
NOTE:
- For a visual representation of the ports, see the Security Center Network Diagram - ALPR.
- For a full list of ports used by AutoVu™, see Ports used by AutoVu applications in Security Center.
The following table lists the default network ports used for SharpV communication with Security Center:
Computer | Inbound | Outbound | Port usage |
---|---|---|---|
SharpV | TCP 8001 | Control port. | |
TCP 2323 | Used by the SharpV to determine which extension to load. | ||
UDP 5000 | Used to discover SharpV units connected to the network. | ||
TCP 8731 | Default listening port. | ||
9001 (Security Center 5.8) | LPM protocol communication port. | ||
10001 (Security Center 5.9 and later) | LPM protocol communication port. | ||
TCP 2222 | LPM protocol over SSH tunnel. SharpV G3 unit running SharpOS 14.1 and later. | ||
TCP 80 | Used for HTTP communication with Security Center. | ||
TCP 443 | Used for HTTPS communication with Security Center and with the AutoVu Product Improvement Program. NOTE: For connectivity with the AutoVu Product Improvement Program,
the Sharp should have access to the following:
