To update SharpOS, you must follow the required update path for the current software version of your Sharp unit.

SharpV hardware identification

For SharpV units, follow the update path based on the hardware version. You can identify the hardware version using the unit's part number.

SharpV G3 update path

SharpV G3 units can be updated to the latest SharpOS 14 release.

  • Download the .gpack file and update to SharpOS 14.2.1.

SharpV G1 and G2 update paths

SharpV G1 and G2 units can be updated to the latest SharpOS 13 release.

SharpOS 12.0 to 12.8 SR1
  1. Download the .zip file and update to SharpOS 13.2.1.
  2. Download and install the .gpack file for the platform update.
  3. Download the .gpack file and update to SharpOS 13.6.0.

SharpOS 13.2.0
  1. Download the .gpack file and update to SharpOS 13.2.1.
  2. Download and install the .gpack file for the platform update.
  3. Download the .gpack file and update to SharpOS 13.6.0.

SharpOS 13.2.1.2 and later
  1. Download and install the .gpack file for the platform update.
  2. Download the .gpack file and update to SharpOS 13.6.0.
