In addition to reading the number on a license plate, the Sharp can also read the state, province, or country. Plate origin recognition is performed on a best-effort basis, and is not necessarily available for the same plates that have a supported ALPR context.
To include the plate origin in license plate reads, you must turn on the State analytic. For more information, see Configuring SharpV analytics.
