If you lose the password to a PoE camera being used in a SharpZ3 system as a wheel imaging camera or AutoVu™ auxiliary PoE camera, you can restore the camera to its factory configuration.

What you should know

Procedure

  1. Supply power to the camera.
  2. Using the T15 Torx key wrench that is included with the aux tire camera, loosen the three screws and remove the dome.
  3. Press and hold the Default button for 6 seconds.
The green LED flashes randomly for about 90 seconds. When even flashing resumes, it indicates that the camera’s settings and password are restored to their factory default (Username: admin and Password: 1234).
