You have the flexibility to determine the retention period for Softwire audit logs are kept on your Axis Powered by Genetec unit. Once this specified duration elapses, the logs are automatically deleted.
What you should know
- The audit log records the unit's configuration history.NOTE: Changes made in the Discovery port and Hardware sections are not logged.
- Audit logs are kept for 90 days by default.
Procedure

In the Audit log retention section, select a retention
period:
- 30 days
- 6 months
- 7 years
- Custom retention period: Enter a value from 2 to 2557 days.
