You can copy the user configuration from one intrusion panel to other intrusion panels, so that the panels share the same user mappings, group mappings, excluded cardholders, and general configuration settings.

Before you begin

Make sure you are granted the View intrusion detection unit users and Modify intrusion detection unit users privileges.

What you should know

This feature is only supported on Bosch B series and G series intrusion panels in Mode 2. GV4 v2 panels do not support this feature. Copying over user configuration can only be done from one intrusion panel to other intrusion panels of the same model. Everything already configured on the Users pages of the selected panels is overwritten by the copied configuration.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. Expand the Intrusion Manager role from the entity browser, and select the intrusion detection unit you want to configure.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. From the Configuration section, click the Copy configuration button.
  5. In the dialog box that opens, select an intrusion panel, and then click OK.

Results

The intrusion panel you selected now shares the same user mappings, group mappings, excluded cardholders, and general configuration settings as the panel you copied from. The users in the user mappings table have the Ready to push to add user to panel status.
