To correctly interpret the cardholder data that is pushed from the Bosch panel to Security Center, you must identify the card format used by the panel.

What you should know

  • The only card types that can be synchronized with Bosch intrusion panels are Wiegand 26 bits, Wiegand 37 bits no facility code (H10302), and Wiegand 37 bits with facility code (H10304).
NOTE: The Wiegand H10304 card format (37-bit with facility code) can be used with Bosch panels B6512, B8512G, and B9512G, when firmware 3.06.012 or later is installed.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. Expand the Intrusion Manager role from the entity browser, and select the intrusion detection unit you want to configure.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. From the Card type list in the Configuration section, select a card format.
IMPORTANT: The card format must match the card format on the panel. This information can be found in the Bosch Remote Programming Software (RPS).
  5. Click Apply.
