You can push Security Center cardholders onto the Bosch intrusion panel to create panel users.

Before you begin

What you should know

  • This feature is only supported on Bosch B series and G series intrusion panels in Mode 2. GV4 v2 panels do not support this feature.
  • Users must have at least one authority level to be pushed to the panel.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. Expand the Intrusion Manager role from the entity browser, and select the intrusion detection unit you want to configure.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. In the user mappings table, click Select cardholder in an empty user slot.
  5. Select a cardholder from the dialog box that opens, and then click OK.
NOTE: If you select a cardholder that is already mapped to an intrusion panel user, after synchronization, that mapped user is deleted from its current user slot, and then added to the new user slot. The previous user slot will be empty.
The new user is displayed in the user mappings table.
  6. In the Authority levels column, click Edit.
  7. In the Area authorities dialog box, set at least one authority level to a value greater than zero, and then click OK.
NOTE: If the Show only enabled areas slider is switched to ON, the only areas listed are those that have are enabled on the panel.

The new user is ready to be added to the intrusion panel.
  8. Click Apply.
If the synchronization strategy is set to Manual, you must click the Push to panel button for the user to be added to the panel.
