Preparing to install the BuyTime plugin - BuyTime 3.0

Before you install the plugin, read the release notes, make sure a valid certificate for your plugin is activated on your Security Center license, and prepare an expansion server for the plugin.

1. Read the release notes for any known issues, limitations, supported firmware, and other information about this release.
2. Verify that your Security Center license has a valid certificate for the BuyTime plugin, by going to the Config Tool home page, and then clicking About > Certificates.
   NOTE: The license number is included in the product-release email sent by Genetec Inc. This email also includes links to the plugin download package and other license information. If you need to acquire a license, see License options for the BuyTime plugin.
3. Ensure that the expansion server where the plugin will be installed meets the recommended system requirements and is running a compatible version of Security Center.
