To have the latest version of the CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin, you must upgrade all Security Center servers and
workstations that you use to monitor and control CCURE 9000 access control
entities. You can upgrade from any earlier version directly to 3.8.0.
What you should know
- The plugin must be upgraded on all Security Center client and server
computers.
- It is not required to uninstall the plugin before upgrading to the new version.
- To migrate from the Omnicast™ CCURE 9000 Access Control plugin to the Security
Center CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin, you must uninstall the Omnicast™ CCURE 9000 Access Controlplugin and then install the Security Center CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin. Your event database will be lost, and
you must re-create your configuration in the CCURE 9000 Administration
Station.
Procedure

Open Server Admin, and back up the Security Center Directory database.

(If not already done) In Config Tool, back up the plugin role database.

Deactivate the plugin role.

Install the CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin.
When the plugin has finished installation, Security Center
restarts.

Once Security Center has restarted, reactivate the CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin role.

On the Resources page, verify that the plugin has come
back online.

(If upgrading from version 3.2 or earlier) When the database upgrade is
complete, restart the plugin role.
NOTE: Do not perform a synchronization yet.

(Optional) Enable transport
encryption on the CCURE 9000 Access Control
plugin.

(Optional) In the Database security section of the
Resources page, enable the Encrypt
communications option.

Verify that the plugin is functional and in a valid state.
