To avoid manually refreshing the XFEvents report to update XFEvent states, you can
generate a report that automatically refreshes at regular intervals.
What you should know
- If any of your CCURE plugins disconnect after generating a report, the event state only
refreshes when the plugin is back online. To ensure that the events refresh, turn on
Automatically synchronize when connected in the
Synchronization tab of the Plugins task. See
Enabling live and automatic synchronization.
- The filters in the XFEvent Management task can’t be modified while
auto refresh is running on a report.
Procedure
-
From the Security Desk homepage, click .
-
Configure the Refresh interval under the XFEvent
management section.
Refresh interval can be set to a maximum of 100 seconds and a minimum of 1
second.
IMPORTANT: This task generates a report request on the CCURE 9000 server for
each refresh. Having this feature enabled on many workstations with a short refresh
interval can create an excessive load on your CCURE 9000 server. Only workstations that
need this auto-refresh feature should have it enabled.
-
From the Security Desk homepage, open the XFEvent Management
task.
-
Click Generate report with auto refresh.
The XFEvent report page refreshes automatically at the configured refresh
interval.
Limitation: To modify the filters after generating a report with
auto refresh, click Stop auto refresh in the XFEvent
Management task. Modify the filters and regenerate the
report.
