By default, live and automatic synchronization are disabled on the plugin role. You can enable these parameters at anytime.

Before you begin

Make sure that CCURE 9000 events and alarms are configured as you require.

What you should know

There are two types of automatic synchronization:
  • Live synchronization captures the changes, additions, and deletions to entities in Security Center as they occur on the CCURE 9000 system.
  • Automatic synchronization captures the current state of all entities on the CCURE 9000 system when the plugin reconnects to the CCURE 9000 system after a loss of connection.
NOTE: Synchronization can take many minutes or even hours to complete, depending on the number of entities. For faster synchronization, disable the synchronization of entities that you do not require.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the Plugins task, select the CCURE Access Control plugin from the entity browser, and click the Synchronization tab.
  3. Expand the Synchronization details section, then configure the following:
    Partitions
Switch OFF this filter so that all of the CCURE 9000 partitions are included in the synchronization. This is the default setting.

Switch ON, and then select the CCURE 9000 partitions you want to include in the synchronization.

    Events
The CCURE 9000 events are rule definitions. All CCURE events are imported to the Alarms task in Config Tool.
Switch ON to receive live updates of the CCURE 9000 event definitions, including changes, additions, and deletions.
Switch Automatically synchronize when connected to ON to get all existing CCURE events whenever the plugin reconnects to the CCURE 9000 server. This is OFF by default because on large systems, synchronization might take hours.
    Hardware, areas and zones
Switch ON to receive live updates of the changes, additions, and deletions made to the panels, readers, doors, areas, and zones in the CCURE 9000 system. You can also choose to switch ON live synchronization of panel inputs and outputs.
Switch Automatically synchronize when connected to ON to get all existing panels, readers, areas, doors whenever the plugin reconnects to the CCURE 9000 server. If live updates of inputs and outputs is enabled (ON), then they will also be automatically synchronized during a reconnection.
    Personnel
Switch Personnel to ON to get live updates of the basic personnel data, like first and last name.

You can also enable live updates for the following:

    • Disabled: Cardholders that are disabled in the system.
    • Pictures: Cardholder pictures. Choose either a full or thumbnail image.
    • Customer labels: Custom fields created in the CCURE 9000 software.
NOTE: If a custom field is deleted in Config Tool, it is not recreated by turning this option on. It will only be created the next time the plugin is activated.
    • User defined fields : User defined fields created for the personnel in the CCURE 9000 software.
    Journal
The CCURE journal is a log of event notifications, like door open and access denied.
Switch ON, and then specify how many days of event notifications to retrieve. These events will be stored in the Security Center database and can be viewed using the report tasks in Security Desk.
  4. Click OK, and then Apply.
You can see entities that were added or deleted during synchronization in the Latest live updates section.
