The grace period ensures that CCure events are reported when the plugin temporarily losses connection to the CCURE 9000 system. Events are handled differently depending on how old they are in relation to the grace period.
What you should know
- Grace period
- Like an online event, an event that occurs within the grace period:
- Triggers related event-to-actions.
- Is listed in the live monitoring tasks: Maps, Monitoring, Alarm monitoring, and Active Manual Actions.
- Is recorded in the plugin database for viewing in reports.
- Offline period
- An event that occurs after the grace period:
- Is recorded in the plugin database for viewing in reports.
Procedure
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
- Change the Grace period. Valid values are 0 seconds to 30 seconds (default). When set to 0, the grace period is disabled, and all downloaded events are only stored in the database.
- Click Apply.
