To allow non-administrator operators in CCURE to interact with Security Center video camera objects, you must grant the operators the privileges to access Security Center video servers and video cameras.

Before you begin

Consult your CCURE 9000 documentation on configuring CCURE privileges or permissions and applying them to operators.

What you should know

  • Security Center video permissions are kept separately from those of native CCURE video integrations.
  • The CCURE Video Integration adds the following privileges:
    • Other > Security Center Video Camera
    • Other > Security Center Video Server
  • You can find privileges by searching for Security Center in the CCURE 9000 Administration Station application.

Procedure

  1. Open the CCURE 9000 Administration Station application.
  2. In the Navigation pane, click Configuration.
  3. From the Configuration panel drop-down menu, select Privilege and do one of the following:
    • Click New to create a new privilege.
    • Click Search and then select an existing privilege to edit.
  4. Click the Defaults tab.
  5. In the Classes browser, expand the Other class and select Security Center Video Camera.

The CCURE application Privileges window with the class browser and Security Center Video Camera selected.
  6. Select the Grant checkboxes for the permissions that you want to grant.
NOTE: You can also click Change Selected Class to specify no access, read access, or full access.
  7. From the Classes browser, select Security Center Video Server and repeat step 6.
  8. Configure the options under the remaining tabs as specified in the CCURE Software Configuration Guide.
  9. From the Configuration panel drop-down menu, select Operator and do one of the following:
    • Click New to create a new operator.
    • Click Search and then select an existing operator to edit.
  10. Add a privilege:
    1. In the Privileges and Schedules section, click Add

The Operator window in the CCURE application, with the Add button selected.
    2. In the window that opens, select a privilege.

The Name Selection window in the CCURE application.
    3. Click OK.
  11. Verify that the privilege is assigned, and then click Save and Close.
