Changes made to external data sources are pulled into Security Center during synchronization. If configured, this synchronization can occur automatically, or you can start a synchronization manually.
Configure the synchronization behaviors.
Before you begin
When a synchronization occurs, Security Center synchronizes with all the data sources on the list. Entities are synchronized by entity type, according to the order in which they are listed in the details of the Synchronization section.
What you should know
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- In the Plugins task, select the Card Synchronization plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
From the Synchronization section, click
Synchronize now ().
- (Optional) Click Show details to see the synchronization status of each entity type.
After a synchronization is completed, the entities in Security Center are synchronized with their data sources. The following image shows the Synchronization section after a successful synchronization.
