Every time synchronization between Security Center and the external data sources occurs, the data is compared by the plugin in a specific order.

Synchronization occurs for one entity type at a time, in the following order:
  1. Cardholders
  2. Cardholder groups
  3. Cardholder group memberships
  4. Credentials
  5. Cardholder pictures
During synchronization, the plugin does the following for each entity type:
  1. Fetch data from each data source.
  2. Associate the fetched data to the configured Security Center fields.
  3. Look for entities to be merged using global keys.
  4. Create entities in Security Center or updates existing entities.
  5. Resolve relationships between entities.
NOTE: CSV-formatted summary logs and an overview Recap.txt file are saved to ProgramData\Genetec\CardSynchronization\Logs\Summary during a successful synchronization.
