Using the Card Synchronization plugin, you can import cardholder information from an external system into Security Center and keep Security Center synchronized.

You can use the plugin to do the following:
  • Import data from Azure Active Directory, databases, or delimited text files to create cardholders, cardholder groups, and credentials in Security Center.
  • Use global keys to aggregate multiple data sources into Security Center. For example, you can link up Security Center cardholders to a human resources system to import the active status of cardholders by their employee numbers, and then use another data source to bring in on-campus payment data, office location, or other custom fields.
  • Use the Security Center data source to merge this new data with existing cardholders, groups, and credentials.
NOTE: This must be done before an initial synchronization.
  • Keep Security Center data synchronized with the external data sources.
