The DMP Intrusion Panel extension 4.3.0 includes the following known limitations.
Issue | Found In Release | Title |
---|---|---|
3343335 | 4.3.0 | An area must be added to the Event monitoring list in Security Desk in order for the Initiator column in the Monitoring task to show information when the area is armed and disarmed. |
3333559 | 4.3.0 | If a cardholder is modified in DMP Remote Link, the
cardholder mapping does not match with Security Center, which causes incorrect user
reporting. Workaround: Modify cardholders in Security Center.
|
3333022 | 4.3.0 | If a cardholder is deleted from Security Center after synchronization with the panel, and then the cardholder tries to arm or disarm the panel from the touchscreen, the Initiator field in the Monitoring task is left blank and no warning is triggered. |
3297266 | 4.2.2 | For a zone set to the Arming
type, the panel does not send events when the state changes. This prevents
automatic updates in the Maps or
Monitoring tasks. Workaround: Manually arm
and disarm the panel.
|
2513772 | DMP 4.1 | When using the Integrator or Entré port, you must leave the Remote key field blank in the Config Tool Properties window for the DMP Intrusion Panel, even if you have configured a remote key on the panel itself. |
2293243 | DMP 4.0 | DMP Intrusion Panels do not support the Trigger intrusion alarm feature of Security Center. |
2293240 | DMP 4.0 | DMP Intrusion Panels do not support the Acknowledge intrusion alarm feature of Security Center. |
2293238 | DMP 4.0 | When silencing an area from Security Center, all areas that are in alarm on the same panel are also silenced. |
2283510 | DMP 4.0 | When a DMP Intrusion Panel disconnects from Security Center while an input is in the "Trouble" state, when the panel reconnects, the input changes to the "Active" state, which is incorrect. |
2283508 | DMP 4.0 | When a DMP Intrusion Panel disconnects from Security Center while an area is in the "Alarm silenced" state, when the panel reconnects, the area changes to the "Alarm active" state, which is incorrect. |
2245011 | DMP 4.0 | When you try to access a DMP intrusion detection unit from a Security Center machine that does not have the DMP Intrusion Panel
extension
4.3 installed, Security Center tries to use the built-in DMP Intrusion Panell extension, which causes Config
Tool to stop responding. Workaround: Install the DMP Intrusion Panel
extension
4.3 on the workstation.
|
2221559 | DMP 4.0 | Events are raised twice when monitoring grace period events in Security Desk. |
2200508 | DMP 4.0 | When a DMP Intrusion Panel runs firmware v.109, the panel stops
sending events. NOTE: There are three possible solutions:
|
2184458 | DMP 4.0 | The cardholder settings "Set expiration on first use" is not supported by DMP Intrusion Panels. |
2177190 | DMP 4.0 | The names of DMP entities (intrusion detection area, input, output, and user) must be 32 characters or less. If you push longer names to the intrusion panel, the panel trims the names. As a result, the names in Security Center are different from the names on the panel. |
2177188 | DMP 4.0 | When the DMP entity names in Security Center contain the special characters ! @
# $ % & * ( ) _ + - ? , the DMP Intrusion Panel replaces the
characters with a space. As a result, the names in Security Center are different from the names on the
panel. Workaround: Do not use special characters in the names of DMP
entities (intrusion detection area, input, output, and user).
|
2148754 | DMP 4.0 | When an input is bypassed on the DMP Intrusion Panel and its type
is changed to "Priority zone", it is impossible to unbypass the input from Security Center. Workaround: Bypass the
input (zone) from the panel's keypad.
|
2139868 | DMP 4.0 | When a user's privileges deny viewing intrusion detection units, the DMP
Properties page of the intrusion detection area is not
visible. Workaround: Grant the user the View intrusion
detection unit privilege.
|
2139534 | DMP 4.0 | When a panel is offline, you can change the names of its inputs and outputs in
Security Center, but the changes are lost
when the panel comes back online. Workaround: Change the properties of
entities when the panel is online.
|
2119497 | DMP 4.0 | DMP Intrusion Panels only support English language characters, so when you use accented characters in the names of DMP entities in Security Center, the accented characters are replaced by unaccented characters on the panel. |
2115036 | DMP 4.0 | While an area is Arming, the DMP intrusion detection unit reports the area as Armed. |
