Selecting layout settings - Dynamic Log Book 4.0

When creating a base layout, you must determine the layout settings of the form.

1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Form layout tab.
3. Select a layout.
   
4. In the Layout settings section, select the following:
   • Body color
   • Header color
   • Footer color
   
5. From the Unit list, choose the unit of measurement that you want to use to measure the header height, footer height, and paper size. The options are:
   • Millimeter
   • Inch
6. Enter the height of the header and footer.
7. Click the Paper size button, select a paper size, and then click Apply.
8. (Optional) If the paper size you want does not exist, do the folllowing:
   1. In the Paper size dialog box, click the Add () button.
   2. In the Custom paper size dialog box, enter the following:

      Name

      The name that you want to give to the paper size. For example, you would enter Legal if you intend to create forms that would fit on legal-sized paper

      Width

      The width of the form that you will be creating.

      Length

      The length of the form that you will be creating.

   3. Click Save and the click Apply.
   NOTE: After you create a paper size, it is available to be applied to other base layouts.
9. Click Apply.
