To trigger a report when an event occurs, you must configure an event-to-action in Security Center.

Before you begin

Create forms.

Procedure

  1. Create a macro that will trigger forms.
  2. Create events-to-action, using the macro you created to launch forms. For more information on creating events-to-action, see the Security Center Administrator Guide.
When an event-to-action occurs and form is triggered, the new form icon in the Security Desk tray displays that there is form to be completed.

  3. Click the new form icon.
The Dynamic Log Book report task opens, displaying a list of unfilled reports in the reporting pane.
  4. Select the form related to the event-to-action, complete it, and click Save.

After you finish

  • To modify the form, click Edit, make your modifications, and click Save.
  • To archive the report, click the Archive button.
  • To print the report, click the Print button.
