You can upgrade Evacuation Assistant directly to version 1.4.0.

Before you begin

  1. Read the release notes to learn about important information for this release.
  2. Confirm that your version of Security Center is compatible with Evacuation Assistant 1.4.0.

What you should know

  • The plugin must be upgraded on all Security Center client and server computers.
  • It is not required to uninstall the plugin before upgrading to the new version.

Procedure

  1. Open Server Admin, and back up the Directory database.
  2. Back up the plugin role database.
  3. On the computer you are upgrading, close all instances of Config Tool and Security Desk.
  4. Install the new version of the plugin.
  5. After the plugin is upgraded, confirm that the upgrade was successful.
