In Security Center, Security Desk operators can export snapshots of video frames to
Genetec Clearance™.
What you should know
You must have the
Export to Clearance
privilege to export
a snapshot from Security Desk to
Clearance.
Procedure

In Security Desk, right-click a camera tile and click Export snapshot to
Genetec Clearance™
.

Do the following:

Enter a name for the snapshot.

(Optional) Enter a description of the snapshot.

Click Next.

Choose from one of the following:
- Select existing case
- Create new case
- Skip and export snapshot

Click Next.

If you selected Select existing case do the following:

Select the case that you want to associate the evidence with and click
Next.

Click Finish.

If you selected Create a new case do the following:

Enter a name.
-
Select a department from the Department drop-down
list.
NOTE: The default department
defined in Clearance automatically populates this field.

Select a category from the Category drop-down list.
-
Enter case information in the appropriate fields.

Click Next.
-
Click Finish to create the case and complete the
export.

Click Finish.
The snapshot is queued for export to Clearance.
After you finish
Verify that your snapshot is now available in
Clearance.
