To ensure that the Genetec Clearance™ plugin 3.4.1 performs as expected, the plugin must be installed on a computer that meets the recommended specifications for Security Center.
Refer to the Security Center server requirements and Security Center client workstation requirements for the version of Security Center that you are using.
IMPORTANT: This plugin requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.1 or newer (included in
Security Center 5.8 and newer).
Network requirements
The server the plugin is installed on requires internet access to upload evidence to Genetec Clearance™. All communications use port 443.NOTE: All data uploaded to Genetec Clearance™ remains encrypted in transit and at
rest.
Disk space requirements
The new parallel extraction and encryption processes temporarily use disk space when, for a brief time, both the original and encrypted versions of the file are held in the system. This results in double the storage used. The following applies when dealing with disk space requirements:
- Uploads can fail if insufficient disk space is present.
- If you plan to process multiple large videos concurrently, ensure you adjust disk space according to expected usage.
- You can refer to the Genetec Clearance™ storage dashboards for metrics related to your uploads.
- The amount of disk space you must have available depends on your peak upload usage.NOTE: You can configure the export location in the Archive destination section of the Genetec Clearance™ Properties tab.
