Use the Maps task in Security Center to request video from
Clearance participants based on locations relevant to your investigation. A participant is an
individual or business that wishes to share videos with a city or agency that uses Genetec Clearance™.
What you should know
Ensure your user profile has the following privileges set to
Allow:
- View participants in registry
- Request video from Clearance
To learn about assigning privileges, refer to
Assigning privileges to users.
Procedure

From Security Desk, navigate to the Maps
task.

Navigate to the location where the participant you want to request video from.
Tip: If you do not see participants on the map, ensure the
Clearance participants map layer is activated.

Click the Participant () you want to request video from.

Click Request video from Genetec Clearance™.
A browser window opens and you are prompted to sign in to
Clearance.

From the Request video page enter any additional information and
then click Request video.
