You can adjust date and time settings in the appliance portal to ensure that Cloudlink appliances are synchronized to a reliable, standardized time source and have accurate timestamps.

Procedure

  1. On a computer connected to the same subnet, open a web browser and connect to the appliance portal.
Go to https://<appliance> , where <appliance> is the hostname or IP address of your unit. The default hostname is printed on the unit label beside Nom/Name.
NOTE: Cloudlink appliances use a self-signed certificate. When connecting to the appliance, your browser might warn you that the connection is unsafe. You can ignore this message and proceed.
    The appliance portal opens.
  2. Enter the username admin and your password, and then click Connect.
If you’re connecting to the appliance for the first time, the default password is printed on the unit label beside PWD. You’ll be asked to change this password after signing in.
  3. From the portal homepage, click the Settings tab, and then select Date and time.
  4. From the Time zone list, select a time zone.
NOTE: Time zones are managed in Security Center SaaS. Adding a Cloudlink appliance to it overrides the time zone setting in the appliance portal and makes it read-only.
  5. Set the Date and Time using one of the following options:
    Use NTP
Enable NTP to set the date and time automatically.
    Manually
Enter the date and time manually.
  6. If you enabled NTP, set NTP servers using one of the following options:
    Obtain from DHCP
Enable DHCP to provide NTP servers.
    Manually
Add one or more NTP servers manually.
