You can access Cloudrunner Mobile by signing in with your authorized account to manage alerts, searches, and hotlists.

Before you begin

You must have a valid Cloudrunner account with appropriate privileges assigned by your organization.

Procedure

  1. Install the Genetec Cloudrunner™ app on your mobile device.
You can either search for it in your device’s app store or scan one of the following QR codes.
QR codes for downloading the Genetec Cloudrunner app on iOS and Android.
  2. On the sign-in page, select your region from the Region list.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Cloudrunner account.
  4. Tap Sign in.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  6. If your email is associated with multiple tenants, choose the tenant from the list.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to grant the following permissions:
    Biometrics
To securely and instantly access your account using Face ID or a fingerprint registered on your device.
    Notifications
To alert you of plate hits from your hotlists.
    Location
    To enable location-based alert filtering.
Best Practice: Set the location permission to Always allow to ensure radius filtering works when the app is in the background or when the device is locked.

After you finish

  • After completing the initial setup, the tenant and region you selected during login will be saved automatically. The next time you open the app, tap Log in to access your account using your device’s registered biometrics.
  • To change permissions for biometrics, notifications, or location, go to Profile > Settings > Permissions.
  • To switch accounts, go to the Profile page, tap Switch, and select another tenant from the list.
NOTE: This option appears only if you have access to more than one tenant.
