To improve system performance and control the number of Security Center events processed by Genetec Mission Control™, you can specify a whitelist of event types available to the system.
What you should know
By default, all Security Center event types are available to Genetec Mission Control™.
- From the Config Tool home page, open the System task, and click the Roles view.
- Select the Incident Manager role, and click the Events tab.
Under Available events, select
A nested list of source entities appears.
Expand the source entities to reveal the event types generated by that source.
Select the allowed event types.
NOTE: The same event type can come from two or more sources. Selecting an event type for one source, automatically selects that event type for all applicable sources.
- After selecting all of the required event types, click Apply.
