The Genetec™ Server Service where the Incident Manager role is active must have the necessary SQL permissions on the remote SQL server.

Before you begin

For information on installing SQL Server on a separate drive, see the Security Center Installation and Upgrade Guide.

Procedure

  1. Open SQL Server Management Studio on the remote SQL server.
  2. Select Security > Logins > New Login.
  3. In the Login - New window that opens, configure the following details:
    1. Select a pre-configured windows user.
    2. Select Windows authentication.
    3. From the Default database list, select IncidentManagement.
    4. On the Server roles page, select the public and sysadmin privileges.
  4. Click OK.
