This cumulative hotfix must be installed on all computers that have Genetec Mission Control™ 3.1.3.0 installed.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that Mission Control 3.1.3.0 or later is installed.
    NOTE: As a minimum, Mission Control 3.1.3.23 requires Security Center 5.11.0.0.

Procedure

  1. Log on to GTAP and download the patch release:
    1. Click > Technical Assistance > Product Download.
    2. From the Download Finder list, select All Products.
    3. Download the Mission Control 3.1.3.23 package.
  2. Close all applications (Config Tool, Security Desk, and so on).
  3. If you’re updating your main server, stop the Genetec™ Server service:
    1. Open your Windows Control Panel.
    2. Click Administrative Tools > Services.
    3. Select the Genetec™ Server service, and then click Stop.
  4. Right-click the hotfix .exe files, and select Run as administrator.
  5. After InstallShield finishes analyzing your computer, click Update to start the installation.
  6. When the installation is complete, click Finish and restart your system to complete the installation.
  7. If you stopped the Genetec Server service, restart it from the Services window by selecting Genetec™ Server and clicking Start.
