As an observer, you can add valuable information to a Genetec Mission
Control™ incident by attaching documents (in the form of
URL links), which can help the person in charge of resolving the incident.
What you should know
You must have the
Add attached links privilege to attach a URL link to an
incident. You do not need to be the incident owner, and the incident can be either active or
closed. To remove an attached document, you must have the
Delete attached links
privilege.
Procedure
To attach a document to an incident:

In the Incident monitoring task, click the incident you want to
work on (in the list or on the map).
The incident details are displayed in the
dashboard.

Scroll to the end of the list, and click Documents.

Besides the label Attached links, click Add
link (
).

In the dialog box that opens, enter the URL of the document you want to attach, and
click Save.
Make sure the URL is reachable from all workstations.
To remove a document link from an incident:

Beside the document link, click Remove (
).
