The incident monitoring task in Security Desk is the primary tool used for Genetec Mission Control™. This task contains tools for monitoring and responding to incidents.
The three sections or tools that can be found in the Incident
monitoring task are the following:
You can run multiple instances of the Incident monitoring task
on multiple screens. You can customize the layout of the Incident
monitoring task workspace on each screen. For example, you can view the
list and the map either alone or together (F9), change the
position of the incident list in reference to the map (F6), and
show or hide the incident details (F7).
The map, the incident details, and the incident list are also available in other Security Desk tasks, such as the Incident report task and the regular Monitoring task.
NOTE: Incidents are not displayed on maps in the Maps task nor in the
Monitoring task when the canvas is operating in map
mode.
