To expand the visibility of a Genetec Mission Control™ incident, you can forward the incident to users who are not currently listed as recipients.

What you should know

An incident recipient is a user or user group that the incident has been dispatched to. Incident recipients can see the incident in the Incident monitoring task. You do not need to take ownership of the incident in order to forward it, but you do need the Forward incidents privilege. If you want to remove the incident from your workspace, transfer the incident instead of forwarding it.


  1. In the Incident monitoring task, do one of the following:
    • Right-click an incident from the incident list.
    • Right-click an incident on the map.
    • If the incident is selected, click Actions () at the bottom of the dashboard.
  2. Click Forward.
    The Recipients dialog box appears, listing only the users who are currently not recipients.
  3. Select the users and user groups you want to forward the incident to, and then click OK.


The incident is forwarded to all selected recipients, whether they are online or not.
