The Incident monitoring task provides a list of active incidents in the Genetec Mission Control™ system. To view these incidents more clearly, you can sort and group the items in the list by attributes such as state, priority, incident type, and so on.

Procedure

To group the incidents on the list:

  1. Right-click any of the column headers.
    Clicking a column header sorts the list according to that attribute.
  2. Click Group by.
  3. In the Group by dialog box, click Select column.
  4. Select the grouping criteria from the drop down list.
  5. Click Ascending to change to descending order and click Descending to go back to ascending order.
  6. Click Select column again to add a sub-group.
    You can add up to five grouping levels.
  7. Click Apply.

To change the column layout:

  1. Right-click any of the column headers.
  2. Click Select columns.
  3. In the Select columns dialog box, click the and arrows to move a header from the Selected columns to the Available columns and vice versa.
  4. Click OK.
