As the Genetec Mission Control™ incident owner, you can manually change the incident type of an active incident in Security Desk.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. In the Incident monitoring task, select an incident.
    Do one of the following:
    • Right-click an incident in the incident list.
    • Right-click an incident on the map.
    • If the incident is selected, click Actions () at the bottom of the incident details pane.
  2. In the contextual menu, click Change incident type.
    Change incident type dialog box opens.
  3. Select the desired incident type.
    NOTE: You can only see incident types with Operational status > In service.
  4. Click Change incident type.
